Biography Gunmakers based in Birmingham. William Westley Richards set up his gunmaking business in 1812. It has always had strong links with London, in 1814 a shop was set up in Bond Street. [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 03/05/2007] NB in some sources the name is spelt Westly Richards, but according to company's site, thisi is wrong [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 09/05/2007]
