William Boyd Dawkins

Biography Geologist and palaeontologist. From 1869 he was Curator of Natural History, Manchester Museum, later Lecturer in Geology at Owens College [later Manchester University] and then Professor of Geology until his retirement [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 08/01/2007]
