Biography Coggins was a solicitor based in Deddington who was very interested in local matters. Three scrapbooks of newspaper cuttings etc relating to the local area are held in the Bodleian. The noticeboard was found on his property in the town. He lived in the property where the noticeboard was found from 1899. According to the Jackson's Oxford Journal of 26.5.1894 issue 7366 he acted as the Coroner for North Oxfordshire [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 03/01/2007]
