Wilfred Hammerton Antrobus Cowell

Career Teacher

Biography Senior Master, St Edwards School Oxford. According to the Archivist of the school Cowell was a legendary schoolmaster, he joined the school in 1880 and stayed there until his death, serving as school librarian and editor of the school newspaper, director of school plays and a great polymath.
