Biography Important manufacturer of musical boxes, based in Geneva, Switzerland, were prominent by the 1850s. By 1880s they had a branch in London which by 1897 had taken over the assets of the Swiss branch and was reformed as Nichole Frères Ltd at Ely Place, High Holborn [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 01/05/2007]
