George W.G. Allen

Biography Major in the Arrmy, and early pioneer and enthusiast for the use of aerial photography in archaeology. He lived in Iffley, Oxford and worked at Messrs John Allen and Sons, Oxford, manufacturers of agricultural equipment [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 19/11/2007]
