Biography Based at the Department of Pathology, University of Oxford according to the accession book. A Jesse Ernest Wheal is listed in the 1901 census [many years before so could be irrelevant, but he is only one with that name in Census] aged 8 born in Oxford living in Eynsham, this could be the same person. In the OUMNH Annual Report, 1915 he is listed as one of two people with surname Wheal [the other is J.E., who might be the other person listed above) normally working in the Pathology Department, who are working elsewhere because of the War.
