Biography Based at 56 New Oxford St, 2 Broad St, Bloomsbury and 186 Uxbridge Road, Shepherd's Bush London W. The Kuss is sometimes spelt Cuss on some web sources. According to the website below 'The Anglo-German clockmaking firm Camerer Kuss ... was founded in Bloomsbury by two German immigrants in 1788. In 1867 the firm opened a retail outlet and workshop in New Oxford Street. The shop eventually had several branches, some of which specialised in selling jewellery.
