William Hatchett Jackson

Career Academic / Natural Historian / Librarian

Biography Radcliffe librarian, natural historian, sub-warden of Keble College and academic. According to the Palll Mall Gazette of 28.11.1873 issue 2742 he was at New College [presumably Oxford] and was conferred a degree. In the Birmingham Daily Post of 1.5.1900 he is described as the 'Science Tutor of Keble College' and had just been appointed Radcliffe Librarian following Acland [qv] [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 01/02/2007]
