Biography 'The Wellcome Historical Medical Museum was established at Wigmore Street in the West End of London and was first opened temporarily in 1913 for the 17th International Congress of Medicine. It was set up by Henry Solomon Wellcome to display some of his collections of medical related artefacts [qv] [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 18/04/2007]
