Biography By 1877 Faithful Cape had founded Cape's Drapery Store at St Ebbe's Street, Oxford. The company was sold on in 1888 but continued to expand into other premises and eventually became a department store. it finally closed in 1971 [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 25/04/2007]
