Merchant Marine Captain who was husband of a relative of the Baden-Powell family. Henry Toynbee is listed in the 1901 census as aged 81, born in Heckington Fen, Lincolnshire, living in Paddington, London, a retired merchant captain [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 28/02/2007]
