Stone tools and weapons in the English collections of the Pitt Rivers Museum
Stone tools and weapons form a slightly lower percentage of the English collections than they do for the European collections (45 per cent as against 53.5 per cent). However, even so stone tools alone represent 39.4 per cent of the collections, 1 in every 3 English objects is a tool made from stone.
