Commentary:

Proportionally the social history collections at OXCMS from Oxfordshire have far more clothing in them (9 per cent compared to 1 per cent). Food items are also more important (5 to 1). Tools are much more prevalent in the OXCMS collections than the PRM Oxfordshire ones (19 to 4). Vessels are also more important (8 to 1), as are writing related artefacts (13 to 2).

Proportionally, lighting and musical instruments are more important in the PRM ethnography collections than at OXCMS (3 to 1). Photographs are a far more important part of the PRM collections than at OXCMS.
